Now we can finally talk about the drain hole. As I said it is in the corner of the study. The drywallers decided that they should unplug the pump that is in the drain whole, and not plug it back in. Well that night when our water softener ran, all the water backed out of the drains onto our floor. Good thing we didn't have carpeting down. It took us a while to figure out the cause, but we did, and realized there was no damage, so we got over it. Of course 5 days later the extension cord that the pump was plugged into shorted out, and it happened again. Such are the joys of building your home theater.
